I understand your anger towards the movie, and even if I don’t want to be rude to you, it is true you might not have understood a few things…

As mentioned by the others, you didn’t get what the creator wanted to create. Moreover, you are rude towards the film makers.

You obviously don’t know what it is to make a movie.

Now maybe it is not perfect, but making a 1 minute cool movie is hard, and exhausting. Just imagine what it is to make a movie like that one…

I’m sure you can’t.

The depth of the graphic novel would probably confound you, but that is what it is supposed to do, understand that Moore is showing that nobody is good not even god-like superheros, your analysis of the movie though is what I would expect from at 10 year old or someone with that kind of emotional and intellectual depth. Might I suggest you stick to Spongebob!

Lol, I’m with you Jorkings. This idiot obviously can’t cope with the overload in his brain, stick to Tom and Jerry, I’m surprised he grasped Star Wars! Mind you it was directed at kids so that kinda figures.

1. DR Manhattan only appears naked when he is with the other Watchmen or with his girlfriend. When in public he is either smartly dressed or wearing what looks like black trunks. His split from ‘our reality’ and his increasing difficulty to operate within the human culture is gradually becoming more of a problem for him; this is mentioned and discussed several times and is integral to his character development. He perceives time in past, present and future which is possibly why he can split into three which means he can’t just split into 1000 Dr Manhattans and go to Vietnam himself. Who says having unlimited power means you can snap your fingers and make everything better?

2. Super hero’s without powers was an integral part of a complex movie you idiot. That’s like asking what was the point of the ghosts in Ghostbuters! Batman doesn’t have powers along with many other super hero characters.

3. If you find the sight of a penis so off putting maybe you should wait until mummy tells you about the birds and the bees and wipes your snotty nose after you get upset. Either that stick to U rated movies where the only thing that might upset you there is when the cartoon character says BUM! Watchmen was made for adults who can watch these things without bothering.

4. It’s good that people question Dr. Manhattans character because it shows the writers have done a good job. Towards the end you should maybe not understand him any more than a dog can understand a human. On this occassion, for a change, it doesn’t mean you are thick it just means the movie is doing what it should.

I’m fed up now. Hopefully Josh is now more aware of the movie or maybe he is still trying to work out what I mean in the first paragraph….diddy!
